Volleyball is my favorite all of sports. And serving up an ace is quite the adrenaline rush. But that is not the kind of ace I am talking about today.
Nope...another one of my students had her baby. Acelyn Idris made his entrance into the world on October 21 at 12:34 am. I love the time :) He weighed in at 9 pounds 3 ounces. I think he wanted to live up to his name from the get-go!
I am proud of Liese and Jeremy, little Acelyn's parents. Ace, here, took his time to make his grand debut as he waited a week past his "due date" to arrive. Liese and Jeremy were patient though, going all the way to 42 weeks of pregnancy! The doctor finally induced Liese then, and about 19 hours later baby Acelyn was born.
I love hearing the birth stories of my students. Each one is special and unique, just like the precious babies who are born. After hearing from Liese and Jeremy, I would definitely say they served up an Ace!
